Warehouse is located in the Bronx, New York.
The basic function of the order selector Operator is to perform all aspects of the warehouse operation at the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor.
Basic knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification and warehouse procedures in order to pull stock. Order Selector Operator will accurately pick items from designated locations using picking tickets and other reports. Shrink wrapping, boxing, taping, and labeling pallets. Order Selector Operator must
maintain work environment by keeping shelves, shipping area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements:
Ability to prepare and complete forms relating to stock description, quantity, and location. (Alternate location sheets)
Use loading and unloading equipment (forklift and/or pallet jack) to store items in warehouse as directed; stocks shelves; retrieve items from storage according to requests; fills orders from stock, assists in rotating stock and customer pickups’.
Loading & unloading inbound/outbound trucks.
Replenishing pick locations as needed.
Check machines (forklifts, jacks) daily for safety observations such as, loose wiring, leaks etc.
Repairing/re-packaging damaged goods
Wearing the proper safety equipment and following all safety rules
Putting away all inbound and transferred overstock into reserved slots writing their location, description, and quantity for system data input
Pass drug test
Pay for this position is $9.50 per hour. This is a 2nd shift, shift starts at 5:00 pm. Order Selector operators are expected to work Monday – Friday, overtime is necessary.
