From a leaky faucet to a too-hot coffee machine, there are bound to be hazards in almost every workplace. But some environments can be trickier to navigate than the average office.
 
At NorthEast Talent Solutions one of the areas we specialize in is Industrial Staffing, and these workplaces bring a new set of challenges and safety issues that need to be addressed, preferably before the first day of work.
 
Keeping aware of your surroundings is one thing, but keeping aware of your surroundings while working on a two-ton machine is absolutely imperative, which is why we will be implementing a customized program for warehouse workers, forklift operators, machine operators in 2015.
 
This program will give our employees the tools and knowledge they need to safely operate heavy machinery, and help to ensure the safety of themselves and their coworkers as well.
 
We know that accidents happen, but by creating a program to educate and inform, we hope to keep our employees safe and secure.

WEDCO Conference
As a local New Jersey-based business, NorthEast Talent Solutions takes great pride in our community roots, and try to use every opportunity to give back. This year we are proud to be sponsoring the 8th Annual Woodbridge Economic Development Corporation Conference.
 
This conference is held to update Woodbridge Township’s corporate and business community on new projects and opportunities for redevelopment. Jamie Fox, Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Transportation, will act as guest speaker; and Mayor John McCormac will host a panel discussion.
 
The conference will be held on November 6th from 9:00am to 11:00am at The Penthouse in Iselin, NJ. We hope to see you in attendance!
 

At NorthEast Talent Solutions we like to play it safe, and with good reason. Hundreds of thousands of people get injured on the job each year, and we don’t want to take any chances with our employees, because talent this good is hard to find!
Since many of our valued employees work in environments with heavy machinery, we’ve decided to arm them with an invaluable defense against potential hazards: knowledge.
We’ve created a mandatory safety program that all talent will have to complete before working in a potentially dangerous environments because we believe that it’s better to never have to learn a safety lesson from experience. This new program will help minimize any on-site risks, and show individuals how to proceed safely in almost any situation.

America is said to be a melting pot of culture. People from all around the world are proud to call this country their home, while reserving the right to preserve their culture and that of their ancestors. While this is a wonderful quality of our nation, sometimes it can lead to miscommunication. And when it comes to the type of work that NorthEast Talent Solutions specializes in, there’s really no room for error.
We’re excited to announce a new program to help employers and employees breach that language barrier. Starting next month we will be offering English as a Second Language to our employees at no cost. This program will run at four month intervals, after which students will receive a certificate of completion.
This new initiative will:
•Allow employers to better communicate with their employees which results in a more productive and safe environment.
•Instill confidence in employees and arm them with knowledge that will better their lives.
